We are rolling out a new update to #Forum , version 1.1.0.

This is our last major update before we go to main-net. In this update, we have significantly improved the security of Forum Online.

Our new sign-in method creates an additional layer of authentication using Passkeys, a modern login system based on the FIDO2/WebAuthn standard in which cryptographic keys are generated and stored on the user’s device. The system is native on both iOS and Android.

In practice, the new sign-in method guarantees that nobody will be able to access your account if they only have access to your identity document or device — both your passport and your phone will be required for authentication.

Once users migrate to the new sign-in method they will have access to a fully functioning wallet which can be used to receive donations from other users on Forum Online and earn rewards for participating in the project.
